Exposure to new ideas and learning is emphasized now. Your mind will be flooded with new information and ideas, and you will feel enthusiastic and excited by these fresh ideas and insights. Areas in which you have little exposure or that you have considered yourself weak in, will now come into your life. For example, if you have computer-phobia or math-phobia or metaphysics-phobia or any other kind of information phobia, then this is a time when you can break through your fear and learn more about these areas.
 
You will be challenged to open your mind up to new information and perspectives. While you are excited about these new ideas, you may also be timid, or even afraid, to open up to these new ideas. If you are too fearful of allowing your thinking to change, then you will become worried, anxious, and very nervous. Don't be afraid to learn something new! Remember that you do not have to swallow everything; you are simply being provided the opportunity at this point in your life to expand the horizons of your thinking and knowledge.
 
You may become so excited about some of the things that you learn that you can hardly stop thinking and talking about them. You may also became a bit fanatical about their importance and  begin to lecture others on their need to realize their importance  also. This time period is a much better one for learning than for  teaching! It is wonderful to share your enthusiasm but avoid lecturing to others about subjects you are just recently exposed  to yourself. This is also not a good time for making decisions of  major importance in your life because your ideas and perspectives
 on issues are in a state of flux and you tend to be driven more  by the appeal and excitement of an idea rather than the practical  issues involved.

Freedom, independence, and individuality are the key issues for this time period. You find it extremely difficult to continue in a daily activity that is tedious, boring, or simply unexciting. Of course, no one enjoys tedium, but at this point in your life, you simply cannot tolerate it! If your job is unexciting, you may leave it even if you do not have another job lined up. This is certainly a time to break up old patterns and be adventurous, but be wary of being foolhardy.
 
You are impatient now; you want your life to be exciting. If  you are unhappy with some aspect of your life, work on making it  better. If you sit back and do little about it, then you will  suddenly explode in a fit of impatience and upset the apple cart.  For example, if your employment is unsatisfactory, then begin  active efforts to change it. If you fail to seek alternative  employment or creative changes in your current job, it is likely  that one day your frustration will build up to a point where you  will feel a need to quit the job despite the lack of alternative  employment.
 
 You are more daring and willing to experiment than usual. You  also don't like being tied down and restricted, and are likely to  be less responsible than usual. Your daring inclinations may come  into conflict with your more conservative, ethically ruled  tendencies and cause you to feel conflict over the best path to  take. No matter what your age, there is a young, free-spirited,  perhaps adolescent, quality that tries to come out now. If you  try to hold it back, you will experience a lot of tension in your  physical body, and spasms can develop. The youthful exuberance of  dancing, sports, games, music, adventure, experimentation and  invention are positive outlets for the spirited, independent  inclinations that you feel now. In more subtle ways, letting old,  outworn habits die away is also very liberating.

and enjoy exploring imaginative and creative options. You lack focused attention and aggressiveness now. In fact, one negative tendency of this time period is that you can become too docile and expect everything to fall in your lap, without any effort on your part.
 
Spiritual and religious development is also strong at this time. Your mind is inclined towards broad, speculative issues more than detailed, scientific study now. Politics, economics, psychology, religion, and any other area that is broad in scope and not completely amenable to scientific analysis appeals to you now. You are more philosophical, and you are likely to feel clearer about issues of a philosophical and religious nature.
